ANNAPOLIS PROFILE

Architecturally, Annapolis boasts some of the finest Colonial-era buildings in the country, reminiscent of the days when Annapolis was Capital of the U.S. Annapolis is the home of the United States Naval Academy and St. John's College, founded in 1696, the third oldest college in the country.

The area has 500 miles of magnificent shoreline to support water-based activities of all sorts. The city offers a wealth of activities for visitors and locals alike - sightsee along the famed waterfront or City Dock, watch the sailboats in the harbor, shop and dine in the historic downtown.
