WENATCHEE PROFILE


Wenatchee, the "Apple Capital of the World", is located at the juncture of the Columbia and Wenatchee Rivers in north central Washington state.

The sister cities of Wenatchee and East Wenatchee are two separate cities, divided by the Columbia River.

Recreation is mostly of the outdoor variety with sunshine 300 days out of the year and the wild rivers and mountains beckoning. Wenatchee Valley wineries produce more wine grapes than any state in the U.S. except for California.
