BOONE PROFILE


Boone is a small town located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina.

Situated at over 3,000 feet above sea level, Boone is higher than any major town east of the Mississippi river.

Boone is recognized as a premiere outdoor enthusiast's destination with spectacular hiking, climbing, white water rafting and fly fishing. Northwest North Carolina is also home to the Yadkin Valley and Swan Creek Wine tours.
